SMS/MMS/MVS  Alert - Credit Purchasing and Instructions

To take advantage of the Alertwizard SMS/MMS/MVS feature of your Surelabs software you will need to:

- have registered (activated) your product
- set up an Alert account and purchase SMS/MMS/MVS credits**

**If you have multiple licenses (serial numbers), you only need set up one Alert account.

Once you have completed these steps you will need to activate SMS/MMS/MVS Alert for each of your cameras individually:

  1. Go to the AlertWizard Menu for each of the cameras you wish to send an Alert and select the Alert type with your mouse. (Select each Camera by clicking your mouse on the camera and thus highlighting the camera window, then go to the Alerts section)
     
  2. For SMS use the default text in the text box or enter the text you wish to send in the SMS text box once you have selected SMS Alert
     
    If you select MMS go to Global Properties and select the the type of Mobile Phone you have and how many photos you wish to send from the E-Mail/MMS Alerts Caption.
     
    If you select MVS go to Global Properties and select the the type of Mobile Phone you have and how many minutes you wish to stream video each time MVS is activated.
     
  3. Enter the GSM Mobile Phone Number where you want the Alert sent in the Alert Phone Number field box. Please make sure you enter your phone number in international format, which is country code + mobile number (omitting the first "0" in the mobile number).

    An example: you live in the UK (country code 44) and your mobile number is 0123 456 789, your mobile number in international format is 44123456789.

Note:

When motion is detected on the camera image, the Alert will send the SMS/MMS/MVS to your GSM mobile phone automatically via the Surelabs SMS/MMS/MVS Web Gateway if your account has available SMS credits.

Make sure the Computer is connected to the internet or your dial up modem connection is ready to dial/connect to the internet.

If you are not sure of your serial number you can access it directly from your software by clicking Help -> About Surelabs - your serial number will be displayed just below the Surelabs logo.
